Q: When do portfolio materials have to be submitted?
Candidates applying for the Infant Family Associate and the Infant Family Specialist may submit finished portfolio materials with the endorsement fee to OK-AIMH at any of our three portfolio review deadlines (Feb, June and August). Portfolios are only reviewed during these months. We strongly recommend that candidates review the portfolio materials with their assigned endorsement advisor before final submission to OK-AIMH. Conversation with the assigned endorsement advisor offers the candidate assurance that all information has been included. Much of the portfolio information may be reviewed by sending a draft of the E-form template as an e-mail attachment.
Infant Mental Health Specialist and Infant Mental Health Mentor candidates must submit finished portfolio materials with the endorsement fee to OK-AIMH no later than six weeks prior to the exam date in order to assure adequate time for review, approval and test scheduling. Those times will fall in Feb and August. We strongly recommend that candidates review the portfolio materials with the assigned endorsement advisor before final submission to the OK-AIMH.
